Shoppers, unite. As we move into the Spring season, there’s a lot happening on the local shopping scene that you need to know. From pop-up shops, to expansions and new collection launches, here’s our guide to what’s new, interesting and noteworthy in the city during April.

Calfornian-born innerwear and sock brand Richer Poorer will be hosting a pop-up on Burrard and Robson April 1st to 11th. This LA company was just recently acquired by Vancouver-based SHOE.COM back in November. Their line is about elevating the everyday, and features design-forward socks for men, women and children.

Derek Cardigan x Camilla d’Errico spectacle collection

Manga pop-surrealist Camilla d’Errico has partnered with locally-born eyeglass giant Clearly’s for a special Derek Cardigan eyewear line. Camilla is globally celebrated (she’s worked with Disney) but is based here in Vancouver and she’s supercharged the vintage aesthetic of Derek Cardigan with her water colour aesthetic, bright colours and manga vibe.

Olivia may have gotten her start on reality tv, but now she’s a mainstay in the design scene. Proof in point? The style icon has created an exclusive capsule collection of chic, versatile pieces her 2.3 million Instagram followers (to name a few) will surely love.

Locals can now shop her designs at Nordstrom where the Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collection is available exclusively. The collection features signature prints, rich textured fabric (think: silk, suede, leather) Price points range from $98-$688 CAD.

Walk for Water with Aveda Canada

In honour of Earth Day, Aveda Canada will be organizing a national Walk for Water with 14-participating cities, including Vancouver. The 6 km walk is symbolic of the average journey millions of people take daily to collect water in Madagascar. To register, visit collegaearthmonth.com/register.

They are also donating all services fees paid on April 25, 2016 directly to the cause.

Saje Natural Wellness to open new concept store

Vancouver-based natural store Saje has undergone a mass expansion period. Next on the list? Unveil the new Robson location, under a new concept store Saje at Home. The location will grow by taking over an adjacent unit. It will feature a living wall and make its iconic nebulizers a focal point.
