Dozens of Vancouverites took to the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery on Saturday to knock the stuffing out of each other in honour of the 7th annual National Pillow Fight Day.
The event, held on the first Saturday of April each year, was located at the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Participants brought their own pillows and enjoyed swinging and clobbering each other, with rules mandating participants to not break cameras, eyeglasses, and to throw away any ‘used’ pillows after the event is over.
The Vancouver event was just one of more than 100 pillow fights taking place in cities across the globe.
