Teldon Media Group has been recognized as number 15 out of the 100 best places to work for in Canada.

The full-service premium calendar producer earned the ranking from 100 Best Workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work Institute, a global research, consulting, and training firm that annually names companies with an exceptional work culture.

“We strive to have one of the best workplace cultures in the country,” said Teldon Media Group president Ryan Benn. “Whether it’s in business, school, sport or life, we firmly believe the experience should be one based on fun. We are happy to say we have the kind of workplace where people brag to their friends about how amazing it is to work here.”

“At the heart of Teldon’s success is its people who are passionate about what they do, and who are supported in everything they do,” said Benn.

“I’d much rather have a culture that resembles a locker room than a board room. I’m incredibly proud of our team, and we’re all proud to call Teldon home.”

Each year, the Great Place to Work Institute awards a select group of companies in Canada the Best Workplaces in Canada award. The 2016 award winners were announced at the Institute’s national conference in Toronto on yesterday. The judgements are based on companies that have managed to create a culture where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.

The title represents a milestone for the half century old company that produces print calendars in a digital era. Less than five years ago it was on the verge of closing its doors and has since made a comeback.

Teldon is currently coming off its most profitable year-to-date, producing more calendars than ever for big clients such as Porsche, Toyota, Ford, Remax, and MetLife.

The company has built a dedicated approach to corporate culture by working hard to accommodate its 75 team members, representing a wide array of cultural and age demographics.
