Beer enthusiasts, prepare to fill your pint glasses. East Vancouver’s craft beer community is hosting a one-of-kind event: A self-guided open house tour of the neighbourhood’s craft breweries.

On Sunday, April 24 all of the East Van breweries (including Callister Brewing Co., Strange Fellows, Powell Street Craft Brewery, and Parallel 49, just to name a few) will open their doors to welcome one and all to take a free behind-the-scenes tour and the chance to sample specially-crafted brews fresh from the tanks. Odd Society Spirits will even be pouring a special gin-barrel-aged collaboration beer with Storm Brewing.

While attendees are encouraged to walk, skate, or bike their way around the neighbourhood, people who prefer a more structured drinking afternoon are also able to sign up for a guided tour with Cycle City Tours or Vine & Hops.

When hunger pangs strike, those hopping from brewery to brewery will be able to grab a bite to eat from one of the many food trucks dotted around the circuit. Food trucks will include Via Tevere, Feastro, The Reef, Tacofino, and more.
