One of the few bright spots this season at Rogers Arena has been the performance of the two men in charge of filling the airwaves, the Canucks DJs.

DJs Jay Swing and Marlon J English have done well in what is an impossible job.

If you’re a fan of their work, or looking for some music to work out to, then you’ll love this mix shared to Vancity Buzz by Jay Swing.

What’s interesting about this warm-up mix is that the DJs didn’t choose all of the songs. The majority of songs were chosen by Canucks players themselves and mixed by Jay Swing and Marlon J English.

“The first couple of warm-up mixes we did we just put on songs that we thought the team would want to warm up to” explained Jay Swing. “It wasn’t until last year’s playoffs that we asked for a list of songs from the players that they wanted to hear during warm-up.”

The mix is made up of records by David Guetta, New World Sound, Axewell & Ingrosso, Wiz Khalifa, Zedd, Vic Mensa, Alesso, and ends with Just Blaze & Baauer’s “Higher”. The intro and outro is courtesy of organist Mike Kenney.
