Treat the senses at the Sakura Illumination 2016

Feast your eyes on Vancouver’s early spring at the Sakura Illumination 2016, part of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival.

The evening of Saturday, March 26, the cherry blossoms at Queen Elizabeth Park will be illuminated with a dizzying array of brilliant projects, bringing the trees to life accompanied by a selection of fragrant teas for all to enjoy.

The project is lead by Stuart Ward & Ben Z Cooper from media design studio Hfour, and uses LED and digital projections to create the moving images, taking place in a single night to reflect the temporary nature of the cherry blossoms.
