Little Miss Glitz is a musical parody/celebration of children’s beauty pageants chock full of today’s catchy pop hits. If you love Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Toddler and Tiaras, this jukebox musical is perfect for you.Alan Pronger, writer of Little Miss Glitz, found inspiration for his first jukebox musical on his television screen in the form of the oft-derided beauty pageant genre. Of course, this larger-than-life inspiration soon became the sassy, hilarious and catchy Little Miss Glitz.

The story follows seven year old, Isabella Connor (Paige Fraser), along on her adventure into the world of beauty pageants. A bit frumpy and impressionable, Isabella is in for a real surprise when she realizes just how cutthroat the pageant world really is. Will she fight to survive or drown in glitter?

But here’s the best part: there’s a twist. There’s no scripted winner and every night, the judging panel is pulled from the audience to make the final decision of who’s the beauty pageant champ, guaranteeing a different, improvised ending to the show to every night. You can see the show more than once and it will never be the same twice.

Alan Pronger is the writer and executive producer, and Music Direction is by Stewart Yu, while direction and choreography is by Dawn Ewen. Little Mizz Glitz is packed with local music theatre talent, including: Paige Fraser, Jennifer Suratos, Ben Bilideau, Rose McNeil, Grace Newson, Kayla Heyblom, Vanessa Coley-Donohue, Meaghan Hommy, Rebecca Piplica, Stewart Yu, Tiana Jung and Matthew Fedorowicz.
