Straight Outta Brooklyn NYC Pizzeria expanding with second location

Robson Street’s Straight Outta Brooklyn NYC Pizzeria, serving up some of Vancouver’s favourite New York-style pie, is expanding with a second location after less than a year in operation.

Co-owner Dom Morra (also co-owner of the ever-popular Napoli-inspired Via Tevere pizzeria) told Vancity Buzz that the causal pizza joint’s second location (unit 3 – 701 Kingsway) is projected to open early May 2016.

The soon-to-be opened pizzeria will offer the same menu as the Robson Street locale, which features handmade pizzas, prepared with simple toppings, and are available whole (14 inch) or by-the-slice.

The décor of the new eatery will also be similar to that of the Robson Street outpost, hints Morra, with an open kitchen. Operating as a sit down eatery, as well as grab-and-go spot, the Kingsway location will be more spacious than its downtown counterpart and house 20 to 24 seats.
