Back in January, the Recording Revolution — an online platform that aims to empower musicians and home studio owners — challenged their followers to write, record, mix, and release a song in just 30 days. The challenge, titled One Song One Month, encouraged musicians to share their fast track creations with the world while entering for the chance to win high quality recording gear.

Langley alternative rock duo Out of the Nowhere participated in One Song One Month and recently released their finished product, “Take My Soul” — a catchy track full of loud, grungy guitar riffs and throaty vocals.

The band, which features Mike Kuwabara on guitar and lead vocals and Max Graham on percussion, dropped their very first EP in December. For those anxious to see the boys perform live, they’ve announced a forthcoming show set towards the end of April.
