This super smooth Irish whisky is flying off of store shelves ‐ it was rated 93pts in the Whisky Bible. A must try Irish rare Whiskey!
  • Connemara – Peated Irish Single Malt

Scotch Whisky

Tasting at Tartan Pride, Friday, March 18, 6 to 10:30 p.m. 10ml Taster = 1 Koin

  • Glenfiddich 14yr Old Rich Oak
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
After maturing in fine Spanish oak and American bourbon casks, the Malt Master carefully selects virgin Spanish and American oak casks to release extra layers of aroma and flavour into this whisky. The result is a flavour profile of rich vanilla with a silky texture and elegant hints of fruit with a nutty, spicy oak finish.
  • Balvenie 12yr Doublewood
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
This smooth-drinking, approachable single malt is aged for 12 years in American bourbon casks with some of the whisky spending a further nine months in Sherry butts then married for further aging. The Doublewood is complex with malted barley, vanilla, honey and dried fruit, a peppery kick and slight peatiness.
  • Bruichladdich – Scottish Barley The Laddie Classic
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
This Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been crafted by Master Distiller Jim McEwan from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style. Unpeated, this is the signature and definitive Bruichladdich. Made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Loch Indaal in premium American oak, it is a testament to the quality of our ingredients.
  • Macallan 1824 Series Gold
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
The first in Macallan’s new range of no-age-statement Scotch whisky, The Macallan Gold opens with pronounced aromas of lemon citrus and orange zest with some subtle nuances of flowers and light oak. In the mouth, flavours of citrus, spice and baked apple lead to a lingering, malty finish.
  • Highland Park 12yr
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
Medium gold in colour; delicate aromas of sea breeze, butterscotch and chocolate; soft flavours that reflect the aromas with the addition of smoke and a touch of caramel with a medium finish.
  • The Botanist Islay Gin, by Bruichladdich
Available exclusively at the Highlands bar
An exciting and unusual gin from Islay whisky distillery Bruichladdich, The Botanist is made in a Lomond still christened Ugly Betty and contains no fewer than 31 botanicals, of which 22 are native to the Southern Hebridean island itself. These latter include the likes of mugwort, meadowsweet and the enigmatic Lady’s Bedstraw flowers, and the resultant dry gin is described, perhaps unsurprisingly, as ‘floral.’

Tickets are $35 per person, or $55 for both nights and include two Keltic Coins each evening (purchasers will receive four if buying The Full Landing pass) for use in the Highlands Tasting Den. Group rates are available. For more information visit the Keltic Landing website.
