Crimson and crime is the air as Cuffed Crime Writer’s Festival takes over Granville Island from March 11-13, featuring twenty crime writers with many thrilling events for those who thirst for literary murder.
With a promise of ‘murder, mayhem and mystery’, this weekend-long collection of events is one that literary crime fans won’t want to miss. With more than nine events spread over the span of three days, the events offer festival patrons a great opportunity to rub elbows with the 20 authors that are gathered for the weekend.
“I’ve always enjoyed the genre and this is a new challenge,” says Alma Lee, the driving force of the Vancouver Writer’s Festival. “I don’t believe anyone is doing a crime focused festival at this level.”
There are many different ticketing options for this murderous weekend. Most events average around $20 but for $99, you can get a festival pass or for $49, you can get into three events of your choice.
