A Surrey family is shook up after hearing gun shots around 12:45 a.m. this morning.

Sergeant Maureen Hickey from Surrey RCMP says it’s unclear if the incident is gang related.

“Police responded to a call of shots fired into a residence here in Surrey at 91 Avenue and 138A Street. Upon police attendance, there was nobody found to be hurt during that incident.”

Mounties continue to investigate.
