As the Christmas Spirit begins to fade you can look forward to filling the void by catching the Olympic Spirit at Metro Vancouver’s newest major family attraction – the Richmond Olympic Experience – where you and your family and friends can compete on over a dozen world-class sport simulators and fun interactive challenges.

Feel the rush as you fly off an Olympic ski jump, paddle down a raging white-water kayak course, carve the perfect line in a sit-ski slalom race, or zip along at incredible speeds on the 2010 Vancouver Olympics bobsleigh track. The ROX is billed as the most interactive sport attraction in North America for a reason.

The ROX has also added a new heart-racing, adrenalin-pumping, full-throttle experience. Until January 3, test your driving skills at the Formula 1 Race Car Winter Break Challenge. It’s so intense you’ll feel like you’re driving a real F1 car. And to add just a bit of extra pressure, the three fastest lap times will win prizes like go kart racing packages, tickets to the Monster Jam monster truck rally at BC Place on February 27, and a ROX birthday party package.

The ROX also has over 570 rare and unique artifacts that are bound to instil a sense of nostalgia for any Canadian sports enthusiast and get the whole family pumped for the upcoming Olympic Summer Games in Rio, Brazil.

During the winter break, kids 12 and under get free admission for every paid adult admission, along with free sports balls and stickers – use the code ROX15 when you buy online. Visit theROX.ca for more information about events, admissions, and programming, and don’t forget to share your Olympic experiences using #OvalROX.
