Two people stabbed outside of Vancouver elementary school

The Vancouver Police Department are investigating after multiple stabbings occurred outside an elementary school.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday night, police were called to Lord Roberts Annex elementary school at Nelson and Thurlow Streets. When they arrived, police found a 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man near Nelson Park with slash wounds Constable Brian Montague told Vancity Buzz in an email.

The injuries were the result of a fight with a third person. The suspect and victims are both known to each other.

The man was treated at the scene while the woman was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No arrests have yet been made.
