Canadians welcome Syrian refugees with heartwarming tweets

The first flight of Syrian refugees arrived in Canada yesterday and were greeted at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport by none other than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Canadians have been welcoming the newly arrived refugees on Twitter. The hashtag #WelcomeToCanada is currently trending and has more than 13,000 tweets at the time of publication.
