New Year’s Event Vancouver

  • What: The city’s biggest and best New Year’s celebration. At Canada Place, enjoy five live bands, including Current Swell, Dear Rouge, and We Are the City. There’s lots to see and do, culminating with two fireworks displays, one at 9 p.m. for those looking to hit the hay early, and an 11 minute New Year celebration at midnight.

Solid NYE at Pacific Coliseum

  • What: An EDM blowout for a new year, featuring Tritonal, DVBBS, Deorro, Headhunterz, and more.

  • When: Thursday, December 31; 7 p.m.

Slow Jam Sundays NYE at the Commodore Ballroom

  • What: Don’t let the name fool you. Slow jam your way to a bright new 2016 at the Commodore Ballroom. If you were looking for an up close and personal NYE party, this is the ticket.

Sweet 2016

  • What: 2016 is a very important age in a millennium’s life, and it’s important that we celebrate it together. Forget awkward slow dances and spiked punch, get on the floor and dance the year away.

New Year’s at the Fox Cabaret

  • What: At the Fox Cabaret, New Year’s is a little different, not only is there live music from The Ballantynes, Heaven, and The Motown Party, but live comedy from one of the Vancouver’s best and most legendary comedy groups, The Sunday Service. If you’re looking for something a little bit different, then I’d say you’ve found it.
