If you think voting is inconvenient, time consuming, even – dare we say it – a waste of your time – think again.

It’s easy, quick and will take up only a small portion of your day. Despite some Vancouver polling stations having long lines, many people are reporting they’re moving swiftly or that their stations have no lines at all.

So if Twitter is any indication, you have no excuse not to vote – your employer is required by law to give you three hours off from work to go to the polls. The fact that it will only take you minutes is just a plus.

The polls close at 7 p.m. PST in B.C., so happy voting, and remember – you can’t complain if you don’t exercise your right to vote.
