Hopscotch Festival 2015: Sip and savour at this spirited tasting event

The Hopscotch Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, with events and tastings taking place November 16 to 22.

The Hopscotch Festival has grown since its launch two decades ago, from a one-night gathering to sip scotch and hops-based beverages to become the biggest combined whisky and beer festival across all of Canada. Following sell-out events in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, this year the Hopscotch Festival has capacity to welcome 7,500 scotch, beer, and spirits enthusiasts at their Grand Tasting Hall, and many more at the week-long series of events and classes at satellite locations around Vancouver.

Though some of the prestigious events have sold out, tickets still remain for many of the exciting and exclusive events, from brand-specific master classes and courses in pairing whisky and chocolate to spirited dinner gatherings and more.

The signature event, however, remains the Grand Tasting, which will take place at the PNE Forum, and will feature three days of programming for food, drink, and entertainment.
