BodyThoughts takes a unique spin on the traditional photography show by allowing you to choose how deep you want your experience to be.
The show was designed to be interactive in a way that plays with the use of light, sound, photographs and performance. It sparks conversations about what it’s like to have a body and tests how art can be used to make a real difference in our experience of being human.
BodyThoughts explores questions like: How do you feel in your body? What are you using your body to say? How do you hide your body? How do you display your body? How does your body betray you? How do you decide what is beautiful?
The show’s photographer and curator, local artist Alexa Mazzarello, invites you to either explore the show on your own during the day or immerse yourself in a partially lead experience of the show during the evening. There will be limited space available for the immersive evening experiences.
