Steel Panther

  • What: Hair metal revivalists Steel Panther come to the Hard Rock Casino, bringing their tight pants, blown out hair, and undeniably sexually charged lyrics with them. If you’re looking for a blast from a past that never existed, these are the guys for you.

Lions vs. Tigercats

  • What: What a great time for sports. The Lions face off against the Tigercats, and just in time for the sun to come out.

The Glorious Sons

  • What: Long hair, rock riffs, facial hair. It’s the end-of-the-week rock show we all want and all need. Once you hear The Glorious Sons, you won’t want to hear anything else.

  • When: Friday, October 23; 7 p.m.

Harvest of Quilts

  • What: Quilt-lovers, unite. An all-quilting festival, come and buy some quilts, get tips on quilting, pick up some quilting supplies. Never before have you seen the world “quilt” typed so many times in an event listing.

  • When: Friday, October 23; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Andean Horror Film Festival

  • What: The second-to-last night of this film festival, which exclusively features film produced int he Peruvian Andes. Llama demons, horrible murderers, and monsters the likes of which you’ve never seen. A nice first date spot, really.
