Not to worry though as this is a blessing in disguise that enables you to explore options at some of the newest and best kept secrets for booking a Christmas party venue.

Sai Woo’s modern dining room and globally-inspired cuisine makes this venue an excellent choice for companies looking for a truly memorable venue. Recently opened and tucked away in Chinatown, it has also been nominated by En Route magazine as one of the best new 2015 restaurants to open in Canada.

On any day of the week, the whole restaurant can be booked out for private parties of up to 175 people. If you are in the mood for an open and beautifully-lit room then you can work with up to 100 people upstairs. Or, if you feel like something more intimate, their private room downstairs seats up to 75 people. The pricing is flexible and the menu can accommodate an endless variety of options based off of what your group wants.

The Coal Harbour location can host up to 40 people in the lounge with a set menu for $29.99 a person. Booking out the restaurant will allow you to fit up to 175 guests. If you are looking for something smaller scale, there is a private room seating up to 12 guests.

The Yaletown location is unique because they do not book reservations for groups larger than 12. This is perfect if you are looking to host an intimate party for a small office. If you do have a larger party, they can accommodate restaurant buyouts and have seats for up to 80 guests or standing room for 100.

Hapa Izakaya Robson, the largest of all the Hapa locations, allows room for up to 170 guests sitting and 180 guests standing. With a special holiday menu and minimum spending starting at $2,000.

Its modern vibe and unique food will make your holiday party far different than the typical hotel ballroom gathering. With “Happa” hour every day from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. you may want to stop by and make the booking in person.

Opened just this summer, the new Glowbal restaurant in the TELUS Garden is definitely one of the places to be this winter.
