NASA has just released a new set of photos featuring up-close-and-personal shots of Pluto, taken by the New Horizons probe during it’s recent flyby.

The pictures of Pluto show craters, mountains, and fields of ice covering hundreds of square kilometres, the clearest and most detailed photos of the dwarf planet ever produced.

They also included a photo of Charon, the largest of Pluto’s five known moons, named for the ferryman who sales the River Styx, bringing souls to the afterlife.
