It may be a crime to look this good, but the police will let it pass this time. This summer people have been loving their VPD Aviator sunglasses and sharing the classic look on social media using #VPDPartners.

These shades do more than protect your eyes from crow’s feet though… Proceeds from the Vancouver Police Foundation’s “Kops Shades for Kids” campaign help fund Youth Programs that fall outside the operating budget of the VPD. These programs keep kids engaged, active, and away from high risk activities.

How can you get away with the crime of looking good? Check out some of the best evidence we have of people wearing the VPD shades. Post your own photo and you could get a ride-along with an officer (without the handcuffs).

Pick up a pair of the VPD aviators at Lower Mainland London Drugs, Vancouver Community Policing Centres and on the Foundation’s website: VancouverPoliceFoundation.org/shades.
