Social media management program Hootsuite has finally added a feature to schedule Instagram posts, making the lives of digital marketers and community managers everywhere much easier.
“Now that Instagram—one of the fastest-growing mobile social networks—is integrated within the Hootsuite platform, you can manage, schedule, and monitor your Instagram activity in a whole new way,” says the company in a recent blog post.
The social network joins others like Facebook and Twitter in the Hootsuite dashboard allowing users to view, manage, post and schedule content across numerous social channels. According to Hootsuite, Instagram users will be able to:
- Schedule and publish Instagram content
- Monitor and engage with Instagram audiences
- Securely share access to Instagram accounts across teams
- Create team workflows, including assignments and approvals for Instagram
Previous apps like Latergramme offered a similar feature with a free account giving users access to two Instagram accounts and 30 posts per month. Hootsuite’s feature is virtually unlimited with a Pro or Enterprise account and with the basic free account, users can connect up to three social networks.
