Deep Cove Daze Festival returns to Panorama Park on August 30

Revel in the beauty of Deep Cove to the tunes of some of Metro Vancouver’s best performers, at the Deep Cove Daze Festival August 30.

The event opens with the Deep Cove Big Band at 11:45 a.m. and the children’s parade. Following the opening ceremony, bands will play throughout the day, including Mike Bertini, DCM Band Factory, and Caracas.

At 5:15 p.m., the Deep Cove Music Star Performer contest will take place. Entry is $10, and the winner will perform on the Main Stage at 6:45 p.m.

On top of the music there will be food trucks, a pie-eating contest, a cardboard kayak race, children’s entertainment, artisans and a beer garden, featuring craft beer from Deep Cove’s very own Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers.

Raffle tickets will be on sale, with prizes including a $1,200 smoker.
