Greek Summerfest 2015

  • What: Greek Summerfest turns East Vancouver into a party! Enjoy Greek food, drinks, and entertainment.

Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship

  • What: Get ready for a summer of softball: The Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship, Canada’s largest fastpitch event and one of the top three women’s fastpitch events in the world.
  • Where: 2201 148 Street, Surrey
  • When: July 3 to 13

City of Vancouver Awards of Excellence

  • What: The night will celebrate outstanding achievements by local individuals, organizations and youth in Vancouver. Presented by Mayor Gregor Robertson and hosted by Riaz Meghi, co-host of City TV’s Breakfast Television, the gala will also boast live performances by local artists such as such as the Carnival Band and four-time Juno Award-winner Prevail.
  • Where: 601 Smithe Street, Vancouver
  • When:  Monday, July 6th, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Eat.Go.Grow! Summer Camp

  • What: Eat.Go.Grow! offers a one-week summer camp for youth aged 8 to 12. Each day of the camp will consist of various activities from physical activities to cooking classes. Physical activities such as basketball, yoga, weight-bearing exercises would be led by a certified fitness instructor.
  • Where: 9650 137A Street, Surrey
  • When: July 6, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Dancing on the Edge

  • What: Dancing on the Edge is a festival created in response to the Vancouver dance community’s need for a supported place to perform. Since it’s inception it’s grown to an annual festival presenting around 30 performances, with a mix of styles, from modern, to jazz, to hip hop.
  • Where: Various locations around Vancouver
  • When: July 2 to 11
