Providing downtowners with fast, fresh, and affordable breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and snacking fare, this fully-licensed casual cafe-style eatery specializes in gorgeous pastries, sandwiches, salads, and beverages.
Nosh kicks off the day at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast service, which includes coffee and espresso drinks, juices, and an array of house-made pastries (their creation, a mash-up of a croissant and a cinnamon roll, which comes in either honey or pistachio, is quite the treat). Additionally, Nosh offers more substantial breakfast entrees from 8 to 11 a.m., like Liege waffles, wraps, omelettes, strata, and breakfast pizza–the latter two of which let Glowbal show off their Italian leanings.
Lunch service begins at 11 a.m., and focuses on panini and wraps, prepared salads, and a unique one-price-fits-all choose-your-own ingredients salad section. Over at the carving station, hot proteins are on the menu, including Glowbal’s signature meatballs and other comforting warm creations.
The pastry case is always loaded with three tiers of goodies, and the pricing is perfectly straightforward, with one price point per shelf in the sweets section. Their cookies and macarons are tempting, but it’s hard to resist the elegant and colourful cakes glistening on the lower shelf, like a tart-sweet mini lemon merengue pie or the chocolate-cream filled eclair.
Nosh is expected to launch an afternoon tea service, too, which will be perfect for when the TELUS Garden lobby features a live pianist to entertain those passing through its creative and tech-forward space. The cafe already offers a fun afternoon Cocktail Hour special, when from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. guests receive a complimentary tapas plate with each $6 Cocktail Hour drink menu order.
Shoppers, locals, and office-dwellers will appreciate Nosh’s plentiful amenities, from online ordering (so you can pick up your bagged-and-tagged order in a jiffy), to the cozy side patio, group take out packages, and the WiFi access. Meanwhile, Glowbal’s flagship location, just across the courtyard at the TELUS Garden, is being readied for its debut later this summer.
