Whether you’ve just graduated from high school or are thinking of a career change, trying to decide which path to take can be daunting to say the least. Post-secondary education has become somewhat expected amongst many employers, but navigating through the seemingly endless course options is no easy feat. Not only is it a time commitment, but it’s also a financial one. Attending just one year at UBC, or 30 credits, is almost $8,000, and that doesn’t include housing, food or transportation costs.

Investing wisely in education is crucial for students carving their professional career path. And since many jump head first into a program and then realize it’s not for them, having an option to sample the classes beforehand may help prevent any future regrets.
