Road closures during Sunday's Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon

You can run or walk during the Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon & 5K but if you’re not one of the 7,000 participants racing down the streets of Vancouver this Sunday, you’ll probably be road raging and dodging the runners throughout the city.

While the participants huff and puff through the city you should be warned that there will be some road closures during the event from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Roadway Closures & Re-Openings
Race Start: 7:30 a.m. Half Marathon East Mall at Thunderbird UBC to Stanley Park
Race Start: 9:30 a.m. 5K At Stanley Park Fish House  Stanley Park and Seawall
Roadway Closure Time Re-opening Time
UBC – Marine Drive 7:30 a.m. 9:00 a.m.
Spanish Banks, Marine Drive 7:30 a.m. 9:30 a.m.
Point Grey Road, Cornwall Ave and Kits Point 8:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m.
Beach Ave – Denman into Stanley Park 6:00 a.m. 11:30 a.m.
Stanley Park Drive at the Fish House 5:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
Burrard Bridge – partial closure, north / south traffic maintained at all times 7:30 a.m. 11:00 a.m.
