9 free concerts at North Van Summer Sessions

If you’re looking to take full advantage of the beautiful summer nights Metro Vancouver has been having, round up the the family and head down to the water for North Van Summer Sessions.

Summer Sessions is a free summer concert series presented by the City of North Vancouver. Every Saturday from July 4 to August 29 at The Shipyards, a free concert featuring a different opening act and headliner, will play from 5 to 9 p.m., as well as local artisans offering hand-made goods and a beer garden.

Each week’s acts will represent a diverse mix of performers and musicians, from folk to rock, jazz to funk.

  • July 18 – Alma Chevere
  • July 25 – Chin Injeti & The Lifetimes
  • August 1 – Souled Out
  • August 8 – Mostly Marley
  • August 15 – Persons of Interest
  • August 22 – David James & Big River
  • August 29 – The Boom Boom
