The streets are alive with the sound of music – at least for an hour every weekday this summer!

CBC Studios are bringing back the CBC Musical Nooners series with free concerts happening every weekday from noon to 1 p.m. at the CBC plaza on Hamilton Street.

This is the sixth year CBC has run the live concert series, and 2015 is already sizing up to be an exciting season. The first week of concerts, beginning Friday, July 3, will have Jim Byrnes, The Sojourners, Kendel Carson, Dustin Bentall, John Welsh Band, Dawn Pemberton and Roy Forbes.

The schedule isn’t privvy to rain, however, so CBC suggests following @CBCVancouver or #musicalnooners for last minute updates.

Will you be spending your lunch break at the Musical Nooners concert?
