Vancouverites wishing to support the Nepal earthquake relief effort can do so and get a delicious meal during two upcoming fundraiser nights at Café Kathmandu.

The restaurant has announced two dinner events, from which 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to two organizations to assist the affected peoples of Nepal. Those organizations are The Canadian Red Cross and Educate The Children.

From 4:30 p.m. until closing on April 30 and again on May 7, the restaurant will offer a set menu with two options (vegetarian or vegan) for $20 a person. The restaurant says they’ll share details about the dishes online soon, but note they will not take reservations and will do the dinners first come, first served.

Additionally, Café Kathmandu will be accepting donations by cheque or cash to go directly to the relief organizations.
