Transit plebiscite receives hilarious 'Downfall' Hitler treatment (VIDEO)

If you’re rooting for the ‘Yes’ side in Metro Vancouver’s transit plebiscite, you’ll find this particularly hilarious.

In this parody of Downfall‘s climatic scene, Hitler is furious over Premier Christy Clark’s decision to call a public vote over expanding critical infrastructure required to accommodate the region’s growing population.

In reaction to this news, he sends everyone out of the room, with the exception of a few municipal leaders who have voiced their opposition to the plan: Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan, West Vancouver Mayor Michael Smith and Maple Ridge Mayor Nicole Read.

What transpires after this is hysterically funny.
