Chinatown fire

The Daisy Garden Chinese restaurant on East Pender St. between Columbia and Main is up in flames.

Vancouver Fire Department has called a three-alarm fire at 142 E Pender St. Tuesday afternoon, suspecting that roof work being done on the building accidentally caused a fire.

The Department confirmed shortly after noon that all occupants of the building had escaped and no injuries were sustained.

More to come…
