Two men shot in targeted Surrey hit

Surrey RCMP are reporting two men were shot in Surrey Thursday night in what appears to be a targeted hit.

Reports of gunshots near 88 Avenue and 124 Street in Surrey were reported to police just before 9 p.m. on Thursday. Police were then alerted that two cars, a white Ford Escape and a dark coloured SUV, were driving erratically nearby.

Soon after, the white Ford Escape arrived at the hospital where two men in their mid-twenties were treated for non-life-threatening gun shot wounds. According to Surrey RCMP, the two men are known to police.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
