It’s Throwback Thursday! Lets take a trip down memory lane, all the way back to 1995 when “Pavel Bure was on the internet tonight” was incredibly intriguing nightly news teaser.I thought that 1995 was only 20 years ago, but after watching this video, I am convinced that it’s closer to 100 years ago.

This video was taken when Bure was rehabbing the first of many major knee injuries, shortly after switching his jersey number to #96. The Canucks were in their first season at General Motors Place, which coincided with Alexander Mogilny’s first season in Vancouver and the Vancouver Grizzlies’ first season in the NBA.

Watch as Pavel Bure tries to use the “computer communication system” to answer fan questions on the new website: OrcaBay.com. Naturally, he did this using Netscape Navigator.
