To help their customers get to know the farmers who are selling meat at the Vancouver Farmers Market, the Winter Market presents their free annual “Meat Your Maker” event on Saturday, March 21.

The meat producers at the Winter Market (which, please note, has recently moved across from Nat Bailey Stadium to Riley Park) will be on hand to talk to customers about how they raise their meat and to answer any questions from shoppers.

A dozen meat vendors in total will be participating in the March 21 Winter Market. A full list of the meat vendors attending is online.

Meat Your Maker also includes interactive demos on sausage making, lessons on the perfect cut of meat, and the art of butchery.
