Vancouver International Dance Festival

  • What: Cutting edge contemporary dance by artists from Japan, Hungary, and Canada.

Urban Grind

  • What: Climb the stairs to the top of the Harbour Centre at 553 feet. $5 entry fee.
  • Where: Harbour Centre
  • When: Every Tuesday in March from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Free Family Programs at Vancouver Art Gallery

  • What: Explore the Gallery, do creative hands-on activities, and more.

Canuck Place Clothing Drive

  • What: Drop off your unwanted clothing and footwear to help raise funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

St. Patrick’s Day 5k

  • What: Fun St. Patrick’s Day-themed 5k through Stanley Park.

PlayDome

  • What: Western Canada’s largest indoor carnival with 45 rides and attractions.
  • Where: BC Place
  • When: Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, March 22

Winter Farmers Market

  • What: Shop locally grown produce and enjoy live music.
  • Where: Riley Park
  • When: Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

  • What: Pipe and drum bands, Celtic musicians, Scottish and Irish dancers, acrobats, stilt walkers, vintage cars and more.
  • Where: Downtown Vancouver
  • When: Sunday, March 15 at 11 a.m.

Hastings Park Farmers Market

  • What: Local produce, locally made crafts, and hot food trucks.
  • Where: Hastings Skatepark on Renfrew Street
  • When: Opens Sunday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
