Brunch can be a bit of an odd beast — more than breakfast but not quite lunch, and a good time to either raise a glass for the first time or shake off the previous night’s cobwebs by sampling a little hair of the dog. Whatever your penchant for the poison, here are three wake-me-up cocktails that are sure to put a spring in your morning step.

1. The Hemingway Daiquiri

(Pictured above)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Havana Club 3 yo
  • 0.25 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 0.25 oz cane sugar syrup
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.5 oz grapefruit juice

Method

Shake all ingredients together and double strain into a pre-chilled coupe glass.  Garnish with slapped mint.
