Sometimes people will do anything to sneak into a concert. This weekend, a man tried to sneak into Dooms Night at the Pacific Coliseum through the ventilation system.
This is the eleventh year that PNE has held the Dooms Night concert, and such incidents have been beyond rare.
According to the CBC, PNE staff member, Stafford Richter, was on his way to the parking lot when he heard a faint, “help me, help me” sound. The Vancouver Fire Department arrived on the scene and was able to pull the man free from the vent around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Earlier in the evening, the same man was also caught trying to enter the venue through a fire escape. He was forced to leave the site.
The PNE is looking into pressing charges on the individual.
