A wannabe Playboy model turned Surrey realtor has been arrested in California after she and a male companion were caught with a massive stash of Ecstasy.

30-year-old Krista Boseley and 61-year-old pilot Gilles Lapointe, both Canadian citizens, were busted earlier this month upon landing at John Wayne International Airport in Orange County, California, having flown in from Las Vegas on a private plane loaded with drugs and cash.

Investigating agents found an estimated 30,000 Ecstasy pills in Lapointe’s luggage, and another 28,000 pills on board the plane, according to court documents published by The Smoking Gun.

Additionally, the plane held nearly 90 pounds of raw MDMA, which is the powder used in Ecstasy and the club drug called “Molly.” Also on the plane was a GPS device that is typically used by drug smugglers to aid in detecting if a tracking device has been placed in their belongings or environment.

Boseley and Lapointe were carrying a total of over $20,000 in cash, which they said were winnings from a Vegas casino.

Last year, Boseley was stopped in Los Angeles and found with $40,000 in cash on her, which she said belonged to someone else, reports the L.A. Times.

In 2004, Boseley participated in Playboy’s Vancouver casting calls (NSFW link), but has since been working as a real estate agent in South Surrey/White Rock.

Lapointe hails from Pitt Meadows, while Boseley grew up in Langley.

Boseley and Lapointe were charged with federal conspiracy to distribute MDMA and are scheduled to be arraigned October 27.
