Get your motors running, Vancouver: Rumour has it BBC2’s popular show “Top Gear” is revving up to spend some time here this fall.

The source of the rumour is Jeremy Clarkson, one in the trio of hosts of the show that focuses on car news, reviews, and test drive challenges.

Clarkson mentioned a Vancouver visit in a conversation on Twitter about (what else?) the weather:

November in Vancouver can be a little dreary, but that hasn’t stopped local Redditors from pitching in their opinions–not all of them serious–on what “Top Gear” could take on here for the show.

No official confirmation from BBC yet, however we have contacted their press office to obtain more information.
