Terry Fox Run 2014 Metro Vancouver Guide

Terry Fox

Every year since 1981, Canadians have taken part in the annual Terry Fox Run in memory of Terry and his courageous Marathon of Hope.

Over that time, more than $650 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research in Terry’s name and around the globe, Terry remains an inspiration as millions gather each year to commemorate his efforts and continue his goal of supporting cancer research.

This year’s run will take place Sunday, September 14 in communities across the country. Because the run is informal, some of the races vary in distance.

To give money to the cause, visit www.terryfox.org or text “terryfox” to 45678 to donate $5.
