Striking teachers claim they were sent urine-soaked donuts

Striking teachers in Maple Ridge say a treat they were sent last week was more of a trick.

The educators claim that donuts delivered to picketers outside two different schools on Wednesday, September 3 came with a foul smell, reports CKNW.

The teachers believed the donuts were soaked in urine.

They contacted authorities, however the Ridge Meadows RCMP has not confirmed that the donuts were tampered with, and they do not have a suspect in the case. The RCMP told News 1130 that those reports were “unfounded.”

No other information about the incident has been made available.
