You may have first learned of “frolf” back in 1997 when George Costanza explained the game to Jerry Seinfeld in an episode of Seinfeld.
Since then, disc golf has picked up in popularity, with numerous courses and tournaments popping up in more than 40 countries around the world, including a course in our own backyard.
If you have yet to give the sport a shot, now’s your chance. Grouse Mountain’s 18-hole course is now free for those with an Alpine Experience ticket or Annual Local’s Pass.
Located atop The Cut to take advantage of the mountain terrain, the course is open everyday from 9:00 am until dusk through the end of October.
Discs are also available to be rented out at The Outpost for rookie players who don’t have their own gear.
