Thousands of Vancouverites are enjoying free movies in the fresh air each Tuesday night at the Chevron Summer Cinema Series in Stanley Park. But starting tonight, Vancouver-based nTrust is also adding free popcorn into the mix.

nTrust is buying the popcorn at the Chevron Summer Cinema Series, which will continue on Tuesday nights until September 2. To redeem this offer, sign up for a free nTrust Cloud Money account, enter the promo code: POPCORN in your Cloud to receive free Cloud Money, then use that free money to buy popcorn through your smartphone. See the full offer details here. (Participants need a smartphone with data to participate)

“Many of us have stopped carrying cash, so it can be tough to make purchases when we’re out – especially at outdoor events,” said Rod Hsu, Chief Experience Officer at nTrust. “The Summer Cinema Series is a perfect opportunity to showcase how easy and fun it can be to go cashless by paying with Cloud Money on your mobile device.”

nTrust’s free popcorn promotion is redeemable only once per person, but you can pay with Cloud Money all summer long at the Summer Cinema and other Cloud Money events, like the upcoming Sunset Beach Social on August 15. How? Before you go, upload money to your Cloud through online banking or your credit card, and then use your phone to pay at the event.

So pack your blanket, sign up for an nTrust Cloud, and get to Ceperley Meadow in Stanley Park with lots of time to spare – front row seats go fast! Movies begin at dusk and are weather dependent, so check local weather and sunset times before you go.

Note: You must be 18 years or older to sign up for an nTrust account – sorry kids.  Popcorn promo codes are redeemable for event popcorn only. Offer is limited to one per person between July 22 and September 2, 2014.
