Coming off their third straight championship, the boys of summer are back at Nat Bailey for another campaign as the Toronto Blue Jays’ Short Season Single A affiliate.
The Vancouver Canadians swing into their first three-game homestand of the season this Wednesday, June 18, as they host the Spokane Indians.
According to the team’s Twitter account, tickets to the first game have already been sold out. Not much of a surprise as the Canadians popularity continues to rise every season.
With an average of 4,843 per game, more than 184,000 people turned out last season at “The Nat,” which was the second highest in the Northwest League behind only the Spokane Indians.
So instead of just showing up at the Scotiabank Field Box office before games this year, try to plan ahead and purchase or reserve tickets in advance either by phone or online at Canadiansbaseball.com.
The first Nooner arrives Friday, June 20, followed by another one on Friday, June 27__first pitch for both is at 1:05 p.m. Friday day games are a great way to start your weekend or to get your work team out of the office for some fun or as some companies are creatively calling it a “feel good field trip.”
Dubbed as the prettiest little ball park in North America, the park has created so many special memories over the years for fans of all ages—from park regulars to first time visitors.
One thing is for certain, it is the best outdoor sporting atmosphere Vancouver has to offer. Grab your ball cap and get back to The Nat as the C’s aim for a fourth straight title, and maybe this year Vancity Buzz readers will push the C’s over the top to grab the attendance title too!
