This past Thursday jump-started Front’s part one of three after hours events planned this summer. The evening included refreshments, courtesy of their sponsor Kootenay True Ale, snacks, and discounted items special for the occasion. While this was Front’s first public event, they hope to make “Summer Nights” an annual affair to show their appreciation of an ever-growing customer base.

Established in 1993, Front and Co. has been a go-to location for a perfect mix of new and used clothing, accessories, and home décor. Front prides themselves on the quality of their consignments, making sure all items are relevant, suitable, and at a “reasonable price point”, stated Shannon Yip, store manager. “The entire family can shop here,” Said Yip, who also explained that with Front’s supply of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, as well as books, and novelty items, it’s nearly impossible to leave without spotting something special.

But great taste, service and community involvement is not all Front has to offer. They recently unveiled an amazing, intricate Vancouver themed window display, featuring different burrows that define our city. With extraordinary detail, the window depicts scenes of yoga studios and laid back loft owners. The display will be up until August and is a must see.

The additional events will take place on July 31st and August 28th and include such local sponsors as Nice Pops and JJ’s Truckeria. Keep those summer days from drifting away with those, uh oh those, summer nights.
