The 2014 Fraser Valley Spring Business Gala’s VIP attendees will get to meet Mr. Wonderful (Kevin O’Leary, who’s known best from Dragon’s Den), and hear a keynote speech delivered by him. There will also be a wine tasting event, and a silent auction.

“The 2014 Fraser Valley Spring Business Gala aims to bring together members of the business community in support of charities that are creating a positive impact close to home.”

This event is hosted by Raymond James Ltd.’s Tycuda Group, along with the Facet Advisors, and the R.D.M. Lawyers.

The 2014 Fraser Valley Spring Business Gala will be donating to charities that operate in the Lower Mainland. The event’s organizers have selected charities which have “personally impacted the lives of members of the hosting firms.”

Here are the charities that will benefit from the event:

  • Canadian Cancer Society: “The C.C.S. is a national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life for people living with cancer. Additionally, A.H.S. offers public education, outreach, a comprehensive lending library and community referrals. Construction is well under way for Holmberg House, which will be the first adult hospice residence in Abbotsford, with 10 patient suites and 2 family suites. Hospice is an ideal complement of essential medical services and a home-like environment where patients and their families can spend quality, meaningful time, when time is most precious. For more information please visit: www.abbotsfordhospice.org.”

The 2014 Fraser Valley Spring Business Gala organizers are glad to have a chance to draw credit to these charities, and to support them for “the work they do within our communities.”
