Street Scouting: Getting an Early Start on Warm-Weathered Threads

Warm-Weathered Threads, Vancouver street style

When they are not completely rain-covered, the Vancouver streets have been lucky enough to see a little bit of sun this winter. And while the early days of March still call for winter dressing, the fashion conscious of Vancouver are bringing their style game even when the sun peaks out for a moment. They are piling on lighter layers instead of the heavy winter variety; after all, no matter how thick they are, the style savvy know layers are the easiest way to elevate any outfit.

Vancouver’s stylish set are pairing lighter layers, like vests, hoodies, and cropped sleeve coats with prints, scarves, and sunnies. They are cleverly pairing wintertime staples with warm-weathered threads to up their style game and bring a touch of spring to the colder weather temps we’ve all been enduring. While we are still in the midst of winter rain fall and snow, spring is surprisingly not too far off, and either is transitional dressing. At this point, we are just about forcing spring to come out of hiding, so it’s time to thaw yourself out and get shopping!
